Here at Hawaii Polo Trail Rides we operate the premier oceanfront trail ride on Oahu. With us, you get to ride the finest polo ponies along Oahu's epic North Shore.
During your oceanfront trail ride you will enjoy spectacular views of the ocean and sunsets (sunset ride only), catch glimpses of green sea turtles feeding in the water or the occasional lounging Hawaiian monk seal. You will ride working polo ponies that are rigorously trained to take excellent care of you. Enjoy!

Share our epic scenery with the one you love. This ride gives you the privacy of only each others' company, in addition to one of our respectful guides, at the most beautiful time of day; sunset. The Family Tour:
Give your kids and family an experience they will never forget; a horse-back ride along our sandy shore! We have several horses that specialize in taking care of children, so they will be safe. Between the scenery and our knowledgeable guides you family will come away from this ride never wanting to leave.

The Advanced Ride
Tired of walking? Enjoy a ride, one on one, with one of our experienced guides who in addition to a walk down our trail will take you through both trot and cantering gaits around our oceanfront polo field.

Reservation Dates: please note that in general trail rides are available only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, because the horses will be playing polo on the other days, there are some occasional exceptions for private rides.
Children age 8 and up are welcome. Kama'aina and military discounts are available.

Enter the main gate at of the polo field on the makai (ocean) side of Farrington Hwy. Please shut the gate behind you to prevent loose horses from entering the road. Inside the front gate take a left down the dirt road and follow it around to the West end of the field where you will see signs for parking. You will see the pony lines under a stand of australian pines (iron-wood trees). If you arrive for the first ride before 12:30pm please make yourself comfortable on the porch, feel free to use the restroom (in the adjacent, small building to the right through the white door), or check out the beach, our staff will arrive at half past noon.
